About Us

Care In Need was founded in 2020, registered "UNDER THE SOCIETIES REGISTRATION ACT 1860" with Joint Stock Company of Bangladesh. The Foundation is a charitable organization to work for the benefit of people, particularly elderly citizens, in need of care for their day to day life

We recognise that some people, some groups and some communities are excluded and oppressed by the way society and structures are organised and operated. Care in Need believes that systemic and enduring change is possible when communities are able to initiate and drive their own development agenda, work with governments and other actors to access basic rights and services as well as harness and grow their own resources.

Care in Need’s Strategic Niche is premised on promoting a model that enhances growth and sustainability of communities through their strong engagement in owning and driving their development efforts, capacity development, good health, innovation and local resource mobilization.

We believe that sustainable socio-economic development is possible by strengthening participatory governance and fostering community-based initiatives. It mobilizes local authorities, community organizations to plan and carry out together projects aimed at improving the living conditions of people

Working with National and International NGO, Civil Society Organizations (CSO) and collaborate with government bodies to work towards the achievement of common target and goals.
